My electronic wheel (version 1), only lights up like a xmas tree at startup or when I'm nearing redline. Alcantara still looks like new too. "Clumsy" matches the way I drive.

I saw a very worn performance steering wheel that was less than 6 months old.

The wheel certainly did not age very gracefully and frankly looked like shit.

It was an older style wheel that also needed to be manually powered on, on car startup.

Dyno today 247kW, mine would not run with M-button. Joe & John's cars will. John's is STOCK and put down 252kW with M-button!

Nice figure Ian. That's some serious boost for a stock 1M. I guess it's safe to say that midpipes on a 1M are quite effective.

Looking at Johns ( 5000 km on clock )stock figure of 252kws and mine (3800km on clock ) with N55 mids @ 258.9kws, its fair to say that the catless mids give you between 6-7 kws..

Ian's car today had the same problem my car had with its 1st dyno run, where the "M" button caused all sorts of havoc on the dyno..

btw, I thought John's has the Akra and ESS tune?

Agreed there are a few on the forum with a negative attitude, just be strong you have a nice car maybe they don't.
The Dyno is there if you feel the need we can do a private section. Or can do it one Saturday with Joe, Ian and john a few laughs and a cup a tea

Cheers Peter, thanks a lot for today. haha, yeah i'm loving the car, i think M3 drivers may be surprised, but the M3 is still a great car, and each has + and - . What surprised me the most today was the difference is M button ON and M button OFF there is a significant and consistent difference. I probably shouldnt have been surprised because the figures replicate how it feels to drive.

Black is M button on, Green is M button Off... its there in black and white so to speak....

And your point is? I don't think any of us are new to the track, John was at the track with his 1M last week... dyno is a good base to see what the car's power output is so future mods can be measured & trying to figure out M button.
