Berk Race Axle Back Exhaust Installed today...

It's awesome. I can't say enough about the sound for ~$350 new. Before I put it on I was a little worried it was going to be too loud, but after installation I am VERY glad I went with the 'race' version. It's not too loud at all and in 5th and 6th on the highway there is NO drone. It has the nice burble/little pops on the decel, and good sound during WOT. The stock muffler weighed a ton, so even if there isn't any real hp gains I shaved a good bit of weight. I have ordered a go pro cam so when it comes in I'll post some videos.

I've got one on mine and I love it... Be interested to see how it sounds in comparison to the N55...

You must not have downpipes yet. I'm N55, but cold starts are absolutely ridiculous for me.

YIKES...it IS 449 now. But here is where I got it
http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...w=&range_high=

Maybe they had a pricing issue and I got it for cost or something?

Also, no I don't have downpipes yet, or even a mid pipe. I'll get a resonated mid soon and then do DPs shortly after.

I have cp-e downpipes (catless), berk midpipes and berk race axle back and the car is one of the loudest I've ever heard. On cold starts in my garage it shakes my house. But... It's sounds amazing and I get complements on it all the time.

Any clips? I want to go cat less but I'd have to find a shady inspection shop to pass me on emissions...

+1, no doubt...I have AR catted DPs, Berk resonated mids, & Berk Street Performance axle back and it shakes my garage on cold starts. I can't imagine this set up with the Berk race exhaust in fact, while i was waiting to pick up my car after the M3 bushing install I could tell right away when they started my car to pull out of their shop garage. Very loud at start up with the axle back

Its basically straight pipes from the turbos back. No cats, no restriction. I love it!

My neighbor appeared magically through the bushes this morning when I started it up and was getting a drink out of the fridge....he said "I was coming over to see what all this noise was about." I can't wait until l get downpipes. My neighbors already love me for my parties and outdoor music....
