Yes i'm trying to build one....porsche 996 calipers ordered off ebay

Used m3 rotor sourced for mock up build. Pics and updates to come in this thread for anybody interested.

FYI Porsche 996 Caliper dimensions are 150mm (5 7/8") wide at the widest point and 240mm (9 1/2) in overall length.

Took quite a bit of googling to find that...hopefully its accurate and helps anybody else looking for the info.

No I did not...to be honest I have no idea on how to calculate that.

the bigger pads is what the 135 caliper uses vs the new pad size.

Kori they aren't small at all. While pad surface area is smaller they have more are for heat dispersion. All steel pistons too.

They are 996 calipers kori. I think right now they'll fit a 32mm rotor and with a bit of filling I've read of people putting 35mm rotors in there.

If you know the pistons surface area, you can calculate the rotor size that will keep the bias stock.

Hmm... Taking brakes off of a rear-engined car and attempting for "fit" them on a front-engined car. Please post videos of track testing!
