Help with coolant leak please
I am in the middle of installing the AA intercooler and noticed that I am leaking a very trace amount of coolant. I HAVE NO IDEA what this unit is but it is just behind the radiator, lower driver side. It appears that perhaps the connector might be leaking?
![]() ![]() ![]() Any ideas on what this is and then what I should do to fix it??? For starters, I am going to finish butting up the intercooler and then let it run to see if it seals itself once pressurized. Any advice would be great. Regards, |

Tough to tell by those pictures, but that aluminum piece is the year exchanger for the transmission. It's either the o rings that seal it to the radiator, or it's the radiator itself leaking from above the heat exchanger. I've seen quite a few radiators leak in that area. A pressure test and some slight disassembly to gain access to it visually will tell.
