I'm sure you can work with the vendor to get it resolved. They wouldn't leave you SOL since it wouldn't be your fault they were faulty. The only risk you take is if they are not PnP with your car which people took when the LCI lights first came out in December.

They are made of glass?? Really?? Interesting. And if they did sell them then they would be opening their doors to lawsuits against regulations from the DOT and anyone else (BMW/and other consumers).

UPDATE - Waiting on one more vendor who will be emailing me on Monday about the lights. Plan on the Group Buy starting next week sometime. I will have them post up the thread in the commercial section w/link for checkout and we can all start!

Glass? That cant be right. It could be they are not DOT approved b/c no vendor to date has applied for DOT approval.

Unfortunately the only vendor to say they can 100% do it is stating that they can only get "40 units" in the first order (---within 3-4 weeks---) which means that the people beyond "40 units" will have to wait a few more weeks after everyone else, but it still guarantees you a set. Be sure to jump on board to be one of the very few 1'ers with the cool blackline LCI tails NOT AVAILABLE anywhere else!

One of the few compares of LCI vs LCI Blackline. The difference is not a subtle one. (On a 1M, but you get the idea)
