I have the idrive that came with the 2009 models and I want to know if there is any way to put the new system on the car and about how much it will cost????

the 2009 idrive is CIC i thought, the 1 series changed in 2009... i dont see the benefit in switching? was there an improvement from 2009 to 2012?

And what do you end up with? A more modern version of a mediocre system, with a crummy interface and a completely flawed GPS system. Why bother?
