Finally a proper photoshoot with my new wheels!! ...and busted bumper
I finally got around to doing a real photoshoot with my new summer wheels. Special guests include... my cracked front bumper, brake dust, and all of the bugs and nicks all over the car in general. Hey, it's daily driven and over 4 years since the production date, cut me some slack!
A couple of these shots are in a familiar location if anyone has seen my other pictures.. but I found some new places too ![]() Hope you guys enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Current mods: JB4, aFe DCI, Berk Midpipes, Berk Sport Axleback, Miro STP-3 19", Yoko S.Drive, BMW Performance Aero Bumper, Alpine HID kit 8000K, White LED sidemarkers, M-Tec Cosmos Blue H3, Seibon CF Hood, CF Mirrors, CF Trunk Spoiler, CF Roundels, CF Eyelids, CF License Plate Frame, Bav Auto tow hook plate holder, Black Grilles, M stripes on grilles, ST coilovers, M3 front wishbones and tension struts, M3 swaybar, LED interior kit, other stuff I maybe forgot. Lately I have been simply using Optimum No Rinse to wash, Turtle Wax ICE quick detail spray for touchups and bugs, Turtle Wax Bug/Tar remover for stubborn bugs, and Mothers Synwax. I began using the Synwax only on my CF parts because unlike carnauba wax and some other waxes, it has UV protection against yellowing CF. But I'm really liking how it looks on the black paint, even though I know there are "better" waxes out there, so I switched to that. Not bad, especially having gone without a polish for 8 months. Thanks for looking! ![]()

200 views and 3 comments, gotta love this forum Lol
![]() Thanks man! My grandmother stays at the assisted living home in wanaque so I'm always around the area. I'm pretty sure I saw your white 1er around recently (probably Sunday)! Sometimes I see this older guy in a blue 135i, but he doesn't seem too interested. Usually I see the same POS cars with kids trying to rev at me to race or something. How long have you had the 1? I think sunday was the first time i ever saw/noticed ya.. Gotta get together sometime!

car looks nice man...alway's been a fan of black cars..had quite a few black cars and decided this time round to go Sedonna red....next car will be blue..Like LeMans Blue or the Subaru blue..Black is alway's nice but so much work keeping it clean...Even though most of my cars are garaged the black ones alway's bust my nutz and get dusty within minutes after detailed..Other colors get dusty too, but hide it better...Rims look nice as well, but i am a fan of Gunmetal but appreciate most tasty rims, including yours. Good luck with the car....hope to spot you someday on NJ or Pa. roads...

Honestly, both are pretty nice to me. But I was originally thinking of the darker one (the plasma). Has a weird surreal purple quality to it. Very cool.

SGM was definitely killed long before it's time. Way back in the day, I was set on ordering a SGM/Coral car until I realized I wouldn't get it for 4 months and that wouldn't fly. Had to settle for the BSM/Coral auto I found on a lot. Still very happy. Would have loved the SGM, 6MT car with upgraded audio I spec'd out. Still, love the car I got. She traveled cross country for me

Ohh well. Thats what I get for wanting a color more than a transmission. Didnt know that SGM was being canceled and I walked into a BMW dealer in late July to order. Wouldve had to wait until Thanksgiving if I had ordered new. There really was quite the back up in the early days. So I did the same as you. Found and unsold one on the lot. Wish I had your mod budget though. The car looks seriously good

Yeah I walked into a dealer in mid july, found a car. Some stuff happened (they dropped my first car off the truck at the dealer in southern jersey when it was being loaded for the dealer transfer) Two weeks later and my car was sitting at the dealer. One problem though. It showed up in the afternoon the day before I had to travel to Puerto Rico for a week and I couldnt make it before the dealer closed. Before my flight left I stopped at the dealer with a flashlight at 4am to spot my car through the fence. Then I had to leave it there for a week...tough times. ha! I ended up signing for it and driving away on August 16th. Im honestly surprised a passing cop or security guard didnt think I was trying to steal a car. Thats crazy though. I didnt know how many people basically went through the same stuff I did.
