OEM BMW Performance Yellow Springs

I was wondering has anyone replaced their stock springs for the OEM BMW performance yellow springs, without actually doing the entire BMW performance suspension retrofit. The reason I ask is because I was browsing around and I saw that you can buy the OEM BMW yellow springs individually? Any input/opinions on this?

I'm going to run bmw performance springs with koni yellow shocks. There's couple of people that already have that set up. Make sure you get the bump stops too. I already have the m3 sway bar, so I don't need the whole suspension package.

I am picking my car up in an hour. Did the BMWP springs with Bilstien HD's, and have already added a Hotchkis front anti-sway. Stay tuned.

If you are going to go with the BMW Performance springs I suggest also upgrading the dampers. Koni sports would be a good option. Either way you might want to consider shorter bump stops too. In my opinion the stock dampers are one of the weakest links in the suspension.

IMO the stock dampers are already too soft for the stock springs. Performance springs with stock dampers will probably result in less body roll but an even bouncier ride.

I did that. I also got the shorter bumpstops to go with them. But they really are too stiff for the stock shocks, so it's not a perfect setup. Springs are underdamped with the stock shocks. I'd go with either the Koni yellows or Bilstein HD's. I'm leaning toward the Bilsteins, especially if I can find the Adjustable 10's that show up in the european catalogs. I'll be needing to do this soon so the springs are happier.
