Yeah I heard that too, but the operator said the car was in its final checks/quality control so I'm assuming that production either got bumped up or that rumor wasn't true to to begin with.

Does anyone else with an iS on order have a production status?

That's good news for you! I just hope there is a ship waiting with space available now. BMW told me that after the car leaves the factory, they will no longer have updates, but our CA's will.

They told me the exact same thing, and I'm SOL there. I'm pretty sure my CA is tired of hearing from me haha. But as long as I get a ship name I'll track it from there.

yeah my CA is def sick of hearing from me, but considering i cant go on the bmwusa.com site and login (i get an application error that bmw has been looking into for 7 days already......) and check, i am flipping out!!

good thing i just got a haircut, otherwise id be pulling all my hair out

I found out today that my car is En Route on the vessel titled Topeka from Germany - set to arrive in NJ 7/25

So my broker when through Orange County bmw in new york, finally got my prod number, cant wait to track it now. Hopefully my car isnt too far behind yours

sounds like a nightmare your in, and thats why i dont use brokers, even though the price is usually more competitive. I would only use them for cars they physically have. sorry to pour salt on the wound

and btw that application error is so bogus. Mine worked fine until I decided to type my VIN number in and now I have the same "error." However, when I sign ed up for another account (using guerrillamail.com of course) and my OLD 330i's VIN...no error at all.

My CA said that it is only for 2013 models. It also happened when I put my vin. When I tried to track my production number it said it was for an 08 118d, which makes sense considering BMW reuses production numbers.

I got the vessel name from my CA and I was able to track the ship through the shipping company website.

Keep in mind when you track it that the dates are backwards. IE the ship left on 11/7/2012 and at first I said that can't be right, then read it as 11th day of the 7th month. Lol silly me!

Can't wait and I will for sure send before pics and after pics (since I am seeing the car before the dealer installs all of my stuff

)

CA told me today my 135i will be in port 8/1. Trying to schedule Performance Center Delivery now. Did PCD before when I got an E46 M3 and it was great.

24-48 hours or so.

Question: A lil off topic in relation to recent posts...BUT will I be able to order a 2013 1 series convertible in April 2013....when does Production END. No one seems to know.
I figure that if I order one in April then I should have it in my possession sometime in June.

Current information I've gathered fom bimmer post future list is that in January 2014 the new one series will have the offical internet reveal for coupe and convertible...

the Topeka is delayed two days crossing the atlantic, so she wont get here with my baby until Friday now

and btw - the only reason im venting about it here is cause i know everyone here can understand my emotions with waiting for the car. any and all unforseen delays make me unhappy
