Has Anyone Ordered a 2013 Coupe/Vert?

What was the total travel time on the boat? My car should hopefully finish production on friday and get on the next one. The wait is killing me.

Just got this from my CA. Car is supposed to be at the VDC in Brunswick 8/1.
Probably just take delivery at the dealer since I don't want to wait for a Performance Center Delivery date. Wonder when 2013 cars will be released from the port now.

Unfortunately, this production number (3925490) is a new model or new model year and we cannot offer a delivery date at this time. EPA and CARB Certifications are issued by the government and must be obtained for every model every year, regardless of any change (or not) in the production of the vehicle. The vehicle will remain at the VDC/VPC until approvals are received and all holds are removed. It will not ship to The BMW Performance Center or your BMW Retail Center.

about 14-15 days by boat - not including wait time at the port of exit or port of entry.

So I am probably looking at mid-august at the earliest now...

Current information I've gathered fom bimmer post future list is that in January 2014 the new one series will have the offical internet reveal for coupe and convertible...

Your best bet would be to talk to your CA and see if he/she (The Dealer) has allocations available April might be cutting it too close. Like I said, I ordered mine on March 5th, 2012 BUT still got pushed to 2013. So Just make sure before you buy!

Mine was released from the finishing center in Baltimore to await a carrier today, so I dont think there is any delay for emissions certification

Looks like if your car makes it to the port by this weekend you will catch the Fidelio which is scheduled to reach the US August 15th and if you do not catch that the Asian Vision is the next ship scheduled to reach the 23rd. Both ships with August 1st and August 11th departure dates respectively.

My car got to nj on friday according my dealer. I saw him on saturday to drop off some parts (front and rear bmw performance rotors) and go over the final number etc, and he didnt have the car. Said he should have it by today, but i have a pile of dealer installed parts going on the car so it wont be ready for me until mid next week.

Thought id be able to see it but i didnt and my sa is on vacation so i cant get a pic of the car. But that might even be better. Hyping it up more

...finally... but at this point it doesnt help me since it says my car is at the dealership. i am trying to stay on top of my SA to figure out a realistic delivery date, but he is away on vacation in the keys until sunday so i wont find out until hes back on monday.

Apparently all 13 models were held at the port so my car is getting to the dealer today, so likely another week until i have mine.

Im going to visit the car today after work before any of the mods go on it so ill get some before and after pics of it . This will also help me sleep at night having SEEN her

Anyone get any updates on theirs?
