Paint shop in K-Town area

Anybody know of a good place for paint work around Kaiserslautern? Preferably a place that someone has used already. I am looking to paint the wood trim pieces on my 135 in Lemans blue to match. Since the entire interior is black, I think it would turn out pretty nice and Lemans blue isn't too wild.

Any references people can provide would be nice. Or just pics of what they have done to their interiors would help.

With pieces that small I'd say DIY. Just do proper surface prep and you'll be good to go.

Do it yourself as in... I pay you a case of German bier to DIY for me? My airbrush skills are a bit lacking. (But you don't get any beer until after the job it complete)

I was thinking about supplying paint to a local shop. So I just pay for labor basically.

found these on another BMW forum. Freaking awesome! I think it really seats the interior off. Opinions?

That's a thought!

I wonder how cost effective it is compared to paint. How does it hold up to scratches and such? Peeling?

Personally I don't care for it. But that's why we're in this game: to make our cars what WE want. If you like it go for it.

I wouldn't worry too much about shop selection for this job. Any shop can spray those, just find one that will accept a small job. I ordered JDM folding mirrors for my 2000 Civic Si way back in 2001 and I had a hard time finding a shop that would take the job. Finally one shop did. When I picked them up their painter came out of the shop, he wanted to know what I was doing with just mirrors for a new car.
