Personally not a fan of those wheels on a 1M... too delicate for such an aggressive car. I suppose you did the wheels for the weight, not looks though.

Chrome delete.... not silver delete

I studied graphic design and the silver is a good offset here IMO. I'd rather spend $1k on other mods than painting the wheels gunmetal & the car needs to be able to be returned to OEM for next buyer in 2014

Mods are a personal thing. Chances are, the next owner may not like what you've done so it's always better to be able to reverse them out.
