What piece is missing.....

Hi guys,

After some help. Only had my 135i for a week and noticed it looks like its missing a part! Please see attached pics, is there supposed to be a fastening in the hole in the wheel arch liner? Also attached is a pic of the underside. The wheel arch in question is the rear passenger side.

Terry

The car might have had the splash guards installed, then removed. That looks like a mounting hole for the splash guards.

My car had the same hole (drivers side). In the directions for the splash guards, I just put on, it said the hole was already there and to thread the screw for the guards into it but the hole was too big to thread into. I ended up having to use a bolt and nut.

I have it too...

I just double side tape on the back to fill up the hole.

Mine has that too - dealer didn't know why it was there but he said nothing to worry about. I initially thought it was a rust hole
