Hi guys,

Would anyone be willing to lend me their latest CCC DVD-Based BMW Professional navigation disc to load in my BMW?

BMW want $600 for the latest navigation disc

Wtf

I also think this thread would be good for others if they are interested in upgrading their maps. I'm from the Inner West but I am willing to travel. Would also be happy to do long distance rental

You need more than the disc to upgrade your CIC Pro Nav. The disc can be easily had on the net, but you need a BMW FSC code to "upgrade" to the latest nav. If its an older disc based Nav (no HDD) then its a very easy upgrade (no FSC code needed). Try GPS underground website.

Hey man,

My professional navigation system is the older disc based system. Yes! so it is a very easy upgrade. Now for someone to lend or load their disc in my car.

This is V16 (2010). The latest version is V17 (2011). I could't find a link to download it but there is a website that sells it for $90 (download link) or $110 (posted CD).

Just click on the RS link then click on download. I downloaded the copy I'm using in my car off that link. I even tried downloading it now and it worked fine.

It is really slow the download and it only gets up to 54% and stops. Wtf???

Dude should've just asked me. I have the 2010 maps and I've sent out burnt copies to forum members since I got it. They work fine, I use a burnt copy in the car myself and keep the original at home.

Bumping up an old thread because it seems it's the CCC DVD-based navigation system disc that I need not the CIC that requires the FSC code. When did they stop making the CCC navigation? I am leaning towards the latest of the CCC nav disc which I think would be 2008 or 2009 car.

If anyone has it could you please let me know.

not quite on topic... but close... may get you a freebie if you complain... queenscliffe nsw, is missing from the maps... when i drive through the area it says its Mosman but Mosman is about 10 kms away...

complain to bmw that their map is wrong... instead of saying Queenscliff it says Mosman... might be able to get a free upgrade out of it? probably not but worth a try.
