235 at front. ANYone have them?
I have looked up and down this forum, and google too, but can't seem to find anyone who has a set of:
19x8.5 ET45 at front (vmr v710 in my case) with 235/35/19 tyres and aftermarket springs (eg. Eibach). Or am I just bad at searching? I need to know whether this will hit the strut or other suspension components? I am aware a fender roll maybe required though. Thanks in advance. |

I have 19*8.5 et45 with 235/35 NT05 and they fit fine, no rubbing on the strut or fender, but I'm also on coilovers.

OP: you should be fine since you're gonna be on springs. You will need to do a slight fender roll if you want absolutely no rub. Reach inside your wheel well and feel how much space you have between your strut and tire and see if you have about 5-10mm to spare All you'll need is about 2-3mm of clearance. I know that it'll be VERY close. May need to run a small 3mm spacer or so depending on the brand tire (different brands may have larger sidewalls)

It will be close and will depend on what brand of tire you use, how much camber, how low your springs are, etc. I rubbed the fender a little with 235/35/19 Toyo T1R's. My front offset is 42 and I'm probably 30mm or so lowered in the front.

Thank you for all your replies. It seems 235 at the front is do-able then!
I just need some V713 VMR wheels now! Wish a shipment would come in before I settle on something else. Where in Brisbane are you nik0123? Pm me |
