Why is Shell 93 so good? I have a Shell station near my work and filled up once. It was 15 cents more a gallon than Sunoco 93. Are the additives in Shell worth it. I know their website will tell me that, but you guys I would rather trust from your experience.

I try to only put pure petrol/gas in my car, i'm lucky as there is a Grange Supply which sells Cenex brand gas (A Canadian fuel company who does not use ethanol) right near my house.

That said if you're driving your car most days and not letting it sit for too long the ethanol it's really that big of a deal. It's main problem is that the ethanol absorbs water molecules quicker than petrol/gas. So it's hell on marine engines or if you let your car sit for a long time.

There is a product called Star-Tron which is good to use if the car has sat for a while because it helps push out any water in the tank. The Star-Tron bonds the water molecules to the gas so it gets pushed out and burned with the petrol/gas.
My problem is no ethanol free gas stations in my area. I also let my car sit, maybe, 4~5 days between drives. So do you think I need the Star-Tron?

No 4-5 days is nothing to worry about. If it sat for a month outside or in a humid climate I would run a bottle of Star Tron in my car.

Here is their web site and their take on E10

Thank you for your response. I cannot believe the care I am giving this car. I have cleaned this car more often and more extensive than any others that I have owned.
