Anyone know of a good N55 DP install write-up? I've searched around but haven't located one yet.

My buddy ordered his AR downpipes about a week ago and as soon as we get them we will be installing them on his 335is.

Haven't really seen a DIY for the n55.

I thought the berk axel back was too loud for your taste, now you want a DP that's gonna make it WAY louder....

Also I would like to note that when you were here in Illesheim I said this was the start of modding and you said nope I'm not modding the car. I see that the mod bug has got you!

I'm putting the stock muffler back on. I'm trying to get the sound I want with the DP and stock muffler. I really miss my WRX's "boxer rumble" so I'm trying to tune for pleasing sound rather than power. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

Side note: I'll soon have a Berk Race muffler delete axle back for sale.

I went with the BMS catless. They gave me a little discount for ordering the DP, JB4 and charge pipe all at once.

As soon as they arrive I'll schedule something.

Maybe some good info here? If I were to do this install again I would disconnect the O2 sensors at the top of the engine instead of at the DP.

335is has a N54... I would assume it's the same as any 335i 2007-2010 correct me if I'm wrong.

I have the N55 so it's only a single DP. It should be similar but I like to know as much as possible going in. When I help other people with their installs things go off pretty smooth. When it's MY install.... not so much.

My father is coming for a visit over Labor Day weekend so I want to have the install done before that, but it really depends on when the parts arrive and when I can get a helping hand.

Yeah, I did all the work on my car and it wasn't too bad but I like to get my hands dirty.

Have you tried the maddad setup? When my car gets there you can listen to it sometime and see how you like the sound. I have AR dps, mid and exhaust maddad.

The Berk is coming off the car as soon as my buddy gets a free night to help me swap it out.
Any/all trades considered (not just exhaust) or 160 euro cash; first come, first served.

Today on the way out of the parking lot at work a guy flagged me over and asked what exhaust I had. He loved it but doesn't have a 1er, otherwise I would have sold it on the spot!
