2011 BMW 1M  [0.00]
Are these OK for street use? I would not plan on using them full time, but would be driving 120 miles each way to and from the track. Basically, do they work well enough to be safe when cold?

I do this routinely. Cold bite is fine. Too loud/screechy for daily driving though.

Yes, it is a race pad so noise is expected, but cold bite and street use are fine.

Had these PFC 08 on for about 3 days prior to track day. BEWARE, EXTREMELY LOUD.

They performed quite well on track but I was so happy to put the stock pads back on the next morning. Its so loud, its embarrassing.

Yes, I haven't tried a race pad yet that was quiet.
