Akra tips CF vs Titanium for a VO?

I am having a hard time to decide to pick CF tips or Titanium tips. I have gloss black grills and gills at the moment and a diamond black coloured Ri-D rims.

Which one will look better?

Does the titanium tips - brown out like the rest of the exhaust? Does the carbon fibre go yellow like someone claims?

Has anyone got any pictures they can share?

Many thanks for your opinions and help!

I pondered about this for all but 2 secs. Went with CF and never looked back. I think on the VO will look dynamite, and you don't have to worry about cleaning the soot that will be visible on Ti tips. Here is the thread of my install with plenty of pics (and dyno).

I have a vo and I went for titanium. The cf weave didn't match my diffuser or splitter. And I wasn't a big fan of the akrapovic plate on the tips. That being said however, I would have gotten the cf if my 1m was white.

If you blacking out all the chrome bits, together with your BBS wheels, definitely CF. Mine has a small amount of CF on the Remus tips and looks ok IMO.

EDIT: Gun metal powder coat the tips to match your wheels?

That's a very good point, M-, if adding a CF diffuser is in the cards, the Ti are prolly the better option. I've been toying with the idea to do mine, but fear there will be a difference between exhaust and diffuser, and if indeed that is the case, it'll prolly bug me!

PS: sorry to have missed you on Mon, but was in a hurry to buggy down south. I'll surely come up some time again, maybe for one of the PSI BBQs, those cats are great!

Thanks - I has always liked the Ti better with the stock car, but now with the gloss black I think the yellowish tint of the Ti might be out of place, but probably still work. With a white car I will go CF without thinking.

Not a big fan of the akra plate either. I also like how the Ti wraps around whereas the CF just slips over. Do you have any problems of the tips yellowing like the rest exhaust?

Now, that might be an idea! Only now I have to decide with three options!!

As of right now, I have no discoloration issues at all. They look the same as when I first put them on.

I went with the Ti tips because I wanted separation between the black part of the bumper and the tips. If the bumper was all one piece and white, I def would have gone with the CF tips.

- I have changed it back to CF. Less elegant, but definitely more suited to the car with the gloss blacks.
