Agree the C63 sounded sweet especially when it's at 7000rpm and it's just next to you.

C63 Black Series is pure sex.

C63s (whether performance pack or not) still have a lot of tuning potential, tune + headers can see 370kw atw.

I'm sorry but in a daily driver street cred matters most. C63 has spades of it. Plus all that noise.

I'd take one anyday over FBO/meth 135i.

The C63's power delivery is very linear and therefore feels less exciting than a tuned N54, but it's deceptive in how fast it makes you go.

I don't think he is directly comparing a modded 135i with a C63, just saying that a few people would progress onto something else and a C63 would be a great car to move onto afterwards.

But most people would take a C63 over a modded 135i even if the 135i is faster. Wait... had major dejavu then... have we had a similar conversation before?

i'm personally rather surprised that a modded n54 can get anywhere near a c63, but to get to the tipping point i think shows what a great platform this is. now that is simply straight line performance from a dig, none of this from a roll shit the yanks go on about.

Pav, why were you surprised? If a modded 135i can beat an M3 pretty easily the maths make it obvious? FBO+Meth cars are doing 11second quarters! Thats a lot quicker than a stock C63...

Agree.

I did race Suj off a set of lights and he just took off. I had really bad wheel spin and then bogged. Can't wait for a rematch at WSID, I just wish he didn't have the added power package.

A stock C63 does approx 12.9ET. Suj's does 12.3 consistantly with the added power. That's a huge difference IMO.

I agree a 135i with meth will be quicker than a normal stock C63. I had a little trouble keeping up with Suj's car. Traction was the major issue.

Yeh yeh numbers and more numbers. I guess I would expect an AMG worked 6.3 litre V8 to stomp all over an n54, for no other reason than the AMG bit
