What a success!

Sunday's Cars and Coffee was the second Sydney get together held since the arrival of the first 1M to the Australian shores in June 2011.

Thanks guys for rolling up, I think we were down only a few on those who confirmed attendance, good stuff!

Back in January this year we had a grand total of five 1M Coupe's in attendance at our inaugural Cars&Coffee, yesterday our numbers doubled and then some.

11 1Ms in total
7 Valencia Orange
3 Alpine White
1 Black Saphire Met

In addition to the 1M brigade there were some other nice bimmers, 125/135/330d verts, 135/335 coupe's as well as a few other very welcome German marques, AMG C63, Audi RS4 (Quang, your 1M is worth the wait) and VW R32/Scirroco R.

This was the largest get together of 1Ms in Australia, our next G2G will no doubt be bigger for sure as the last of the Australian deliveries rollout through August and early September.

It's worth noting that the original Australian allocation for 1M's was 100 cars, with deliveries spread over a 12 month window June 2011 through June 2012. That certainly changed, BMW Australia noted the enthusiasm of buyers and the Australian press and took advantage by getting their hands on a further ~180 cars. By the end of September there will be somewhere around 280 happy 1M owners in Austrlian, THANK YOU BMW Australia.

Great Sydney weather, hot coffee and car talk = a good way to spend a Sunday Morning.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great meet. We had 6 x 1M's and about 5 x 135i's on our last club run. Was a sight to see as we cruised through the mountain backroads and through small towns. The VO looks sweet in these pics. Am surprised there is only 1 BSM though.

The wheels are the standard M spec 19's painted in a semi matt black, supposed to have been semi gloss, oh well maybe next time. If you are wondering about the lack of plates it is because the car is less than 24 hours since delivery. Running on a permit till I get home and register the car

The meet was in Alexandria Rich, close to Sydney's international airport, south side of the city.
