http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-M3-...n/Control_Arm/ 186*2 = $372 $60 of bolts? lol that's a couple $ in hardware at most, plus a little bit of cost in labour.. not $60 worth... gotta remember (i think) that's the part that means you need M3 rear shock mounts! ED: yes it is, it's NOT a plug and play setup. it may not even be made by trw (probs is..) - but there should pretty much always be an OEM option somewhere, we just have to find it i guess? |

Guys if there are any parts you want me to check for TRW or other aftermarkets on just PM me the part numbers and I'll look about.
And flinchy and sharkatron, yes the hardware is costly. Feel free to add it up out side the kit.

I just ordered a set
![]() (TRW front control arms) as well as some OEM rear lower shock mounts, and powerflex rear upper shock mount/bushing (from ebay), hopefully have it all by early/mid-next week ish, then get it all in with my coilovers and M3 sway bar... as well as new tires to replace me bald ones ![]() I'll at least be able to tell you if the parts look/feel good, and post up a ton of photos ![]() won't be able to tell you the difference in the parts alone, since so much is changing, but ... still better than nothing lol hope all this fixes most of the bounciness/noisiness my car now has -_- |

They even had the M3 logo originally and someone mostly grinded it off. e.g the wishbones were exactly the same as ![]() except someone took a grinder to the M logo . The tension rods did not have any M logo's. However, I installed those first and immediately noticed better steering feedback. Two weeks later I installed the wishbones which really screwed up my alignment like the M ones. After alignment, I am very happy with the parts and the effect they have had on the car. Would be nice if TRW sold the rears. Maybe ECS can get them in?

I've put the word out to our contacts at TRW that we want them if they're producing them. Currently they've said "no go".... but I'll keep pushing
To maintain self leveling headlights you'll need them.

If they are the same product and identical I'm not sure why they wouldn't sell it at a discount because the product already exists and they are producing it already. If it will take some time I suspect they are similar but not exactly the same.

If I would install wishbones I know it will add negative camber but will it also put the wheel under angle that the top of the tire move closer to strut?
Im asking because with my winters 17x8 225/45 inner side top of the tire is already very very close to strut it almost rubbing to it. Im wondering if installing wishbones will not put them that they would rub to strut. |
