hi all,

i may have the opportunity to salvage xenon headlights from a written off car, and was thinking i might be able to use them as a retrofit for my halogen-lit 125i.

thoughts? any parts in particular i should make sure are functioning, and what id need to take exactly?

What's the nature of the salvage? If it's water/flood related, then I'd say skip it. The headlights are very susceptible to moisture. If it were other parts of the vehicle that caused the salvage, then I say go for it. There will be some programming needed to get them to work once you have everything switched out. Good luck!
