Alrighty guys, I went by Meilenwerk today for the Corvette meet, and I gotta tell ya, it was amazing. Lot's of room, great place, they do tours, have a couple restaurants and well, just seems like a great car meet environment.

So, I would like to call them this week and set up a get together for us, and a tour if possible. So, I guess my question is, who all, and when would be a good time for everyone to do this?

I would like to get as many people as possible for this, so let's look at early/mid October and see what we can come up with so we can get as many people as possible in this thing!!! And also Stuttgarts beer fest starts at the end of the month, and we could do the meet during the day, and fest by night, or vise versa.

Guys(& David) if you hold it on a weekend... some of us could stay over night in the area. We could even do a side trip into the famous SchwarzWald (Black Forrest) area too. But that would be at least a half day thing.

if second weekend, I'm out...having hip surgery 8 Oct then in hospital for a week after...means I won't be clutching anything but my pain meds for 2-3 months

Dang, sorry to hear that. Hope you have a good recovery but sounds like you will with all those pain meds, haha.

Alrighty guys, went by Meilenwerk today to start to get things rolling.

Couple things I need to start to get an idea of, is around what time of the day (I was thinking we should do it on a Saturday), would be good for everyone? I was thinking 1pm'ish till 5 or 6, then heading down to fest, or changing the time a bit and doing what Dack suggested.

Second, who all is in? I will start to build a list on the original post. Please post up if you are in, if you haven't already, and also how many friends you think you can bring with. I would like to get about 30 or so (if not more) Bimmer's out there. I say we invite as many roundel lovers as possible, and then just separate once we all get there, to make it worth while. I really want to get as many 1's out there as we can. Their tour can accommodate up to 30 people who whoever is interested.

So let me know, and start spreading the word!

Right now we are looking at either October 13th/14th, or October 20th/21st.

I will update as soon as I find out more
