Wheel n tire figment question guys with 19s pls comment have searched.
Ok everyone. I did do a search first and got some of my questions answered BUT I have never ordered a set of wheels online and had to pick tires. I always bought at a shop so the guy behind the counter would just ask me what tire brand and I'd pick so I'm kind of illiterate when it comes to tire widths and offsets and that sort of thing.
So searching I have found out that 19s will fit on the 1 series with minimal rub and you probably don't need to roll the fenders if you don't lower the car. I'm thinking of ordering these http://www.**********s.com/VMR-V705-Wheels.htm From **********s. They only come in 19s. If you click on the link you can see the chart but I'm thinking I'd do 19x8.5 for front ant 19.5 for the rear. What I'm not sure about is the best offsets for figment and no rubbing. Offsets are 22 33 35 and 45. Any suggestions anyone. Pls don't flame me. Like I said sense I've always bought wheels in person and not online I never had to know much about the fitment numbers as the tech just plugged em in an showed me the brands. Thanks in advance. |

Would it be better to just do a square set up of of 19x8.5 all around? Really the only reason I wanted staggered is because the back ones are a tad more concave than the fronts and I love that look but if that same size in the back would be a safer bet for fitment I'd just do that. Also what about the different offset sizes? Which is most practical/best for fitment

With a Et 50 in the rear you can run a 255 rear tire. A et 45 will work but do have a chance of rubbing if lowered, have a car full of passengers or loaded trunk. Also with the et 45 you can only run a 245 tire. Any Questions I would be glad to assist.

On the site you linked, they only mention et35 in the 8.5: in 5x120 which is what you need. As mentioned, I'd try to finding something more like et50 in the rear if you go with that wide unless you have a major reason like I did since that's all I could get in Volks. Doesn't Forgestar have a wheel that looks something like that with better offsets?

Yep, the Forgestars will fit much better. If you go 18's you could even go up to a 62 offset in the rear. I doubt I'd go that high, lower offsets do look better.

Did you tried contacting **********s yet? They had a pretty good customer service over there.
