Check also the same comparo made by Chris Harris. Always witty and straight-up:

"Oh dear, and so another tire dies."

I see chrome tip pipes in the walk-around (4:53)
Is that a different car?

Sounds like akra, but you're right that the chrome tips are there at the walk around.

Love this ride.
+1

If back seats, decent storage room and the opportunity to enjoy the ride with the significant other + children together, are part of the equation, the Cayman R ain't no competition despite its qualities.

+2. Mahlzeit, we have the same configuration, wife, one 4 year old, another 2 year old, baby seats and trollers. Check this from a recent vineyard visit:

Edit: I was happily surprised when I first changed my tires with PSS and all stock four easily fit in the car. Then, 10 days ago I was really surprised when I managed to carry stock mufffler and mid pipe back home with my 1M after the install of Evolve and N55 mids

I barely got one and feel lucky for it but great point. It did stink that they made so few in that respect.

A friend of mine with a Caymen S, not R, wants an 'upgrade'. Asked me if he should upgrade to an R or a 1M.
I said 1M if he can find one.

I'm going to send him this link.

I was never this happy with a car purchase before!
