What is the fastest you have driven the e90
In my office tower's garage at work today, I got clocked by the building Capos doing 26 km/hour in a 10km/hour zone.
Me bad boy . I contested the pointless exercise of course. But it made me think: how fast have people pushed their baby (of course I expect a few 250 km/hour from our Euro friends). Let the stories beginn (remember to use pseudonyms so as not to incriminate yourselves ) I'll start: There are rumours that my car drove 140 km/hour during her break in period. |

260 km/h (~ 160 m/h) on a german freeway, at least that is what the tachometer said. Actually at that speed my 330d reaches the speed limiter, but there seems to be potential for more.

yea, a friend in the passenger seat took this pic during my ED. I used to live there too....so I really miss being able to do this when the need for speed arises.

Wow, quite a few people in NA have pushed their car.
About the dear Autobahns, I do miss them as well (when of course there is no traffic and you are not in a City area), I have done 250 in other (German) cars as a passenger and 220 as a driver. I now live in a jurisdiction where they expect to drive only as fast as the Swiss, without any of the tax benefits . Dang ! |

Chickened out after hitting 140mph on Interstate 8 outside Calexico near the Mexican border. The car had plenty room to go. Or I should say, my wife chickened out.
I do 95-100 almost every night on I-10 coming home from Santa Monica.

OMG Speedy you are CRAZY! Were everybody in front of you also travelling at 150mph? Because it looks like you would have plowed into them no matter how hard you started braking at the time you captured the picture. It just looks suicidal, you can't possibly have gone that fast with so many cars so closely in front of you, what's the catch?

probably 120 km/h - 130km/h on a 100 km/h freeway. Not much faster than that, I'm sure. Cant go faster because of the cops and strict road rules. Not interested in going fast on a flat road. Boring.
Much more fun up and down the mountains or on twisty country roads, just doing the safe speed limit is what I enjoy most.
