Help! I've had my Seibon CF Trunk on for several months and now recently the open trunk light has been chiming on everytime I accelerate from a stop. Is there a sensor that went bad? Or is the trunk so light its fooling the sensor? Please help this is getting annoying

Sounds like the deck is moving just a bit when your accelerating. I would check to see if there are any adjustments that you can make to secure them just a bit more. Can you move the deck latch up or the trunk latch down at all for a tighter fit?

I had a friend thats a tech at a local dealer check it out and deemed that the trunk lock on the trunk was faulty so just gonna get that replaced. I tightened everything up and it still kept doing the same thing
