BMW 2010 Professional Navigation Map (+ business + old Navi)

As the title says the map can be downloaded here: (prof 2010)

https://rapidshare.com/#!download|73...292490AD0B|0|0

You need to unzip the iso

Then burn the iso to either dvd or CD using dvd decrypter or imgburn

Remember for the 2 part downloads you can only download 1 file at a time unless you have a rapid share account.

Put both files into same directory. Use winrar and decompress part 1 only as it should find part 2 automatically and create the 1 iso file for you ready to burn as in post 1.

Thanks mate. I'll have to check what Version # I have at the moment...

Also, I thought the Business one used a USB port in the glove box for upload as it doesn't have a DVD drive?

If you have the newer cic idrive then this is not the right version for you. It is only for cars with the older style idrive as well as the mark 1-4 which I have included above.

With the newer ones you will need to find the map and also get someone to generate a FSC code for you.

There are some online who can generate that code for you once you supply your VIN but they charge anywhere between $50-$200

Ive had these maps for a month courtesy of gpsunderground.com. They work perfectly. Also the instructions say to burn the disc to a CDR which is what i did, as it will have less were and tear on the dvd drive compared to a DVDR.

Yeah... I have "Business" Nav according to BMW's specs sheets but it's exactly the same as the current Pro - just on a smaller screen...

Does this mean that there's no easy (free) way to update the maps? Does anyone know what BMW charge? Last I heard it was up around $1000 or so...

Do you have hard drive on your car? If so see my previous comment, it can be done but not gonna be cheap.

btw i downloaded the business map and it looks like part 1 and part 2 are exactly the same. Just one has better compression than the other by the looks of it. Just d/l the smaller one first and try that one if not then try the bigger file. I have extracted both and they look exactly the same. Havent burnt them cos I dont need it.

I believe I have a Hard Drive - but it's only for storing the Maps - I can't use it for music like you can with the full Pro system...

I know I definitely DON'T have a DVD Drive in the Glovebox or the Boot...
