I'd be interested joining you guys for PI depending on the date

I've done a couple of VW drive days, 1 at Sandown, and 2 at PI, would that make me eligible to upgrade to M Dynamic with my voucher?

Only problem is if everyone was able to make it, 9 is already using a voucher... How many times have you done the advance II and intensive course?

Seriously think that's hard to argue with but will give it a try. Do you track regularly otherwise?

Biz and another member (not sure if he's on the forum) has already put their name down for the intensive course. I know they tend to run them very close together and will try to see if we can organised it so that people can have an option to do either.

Just to throw a spanner in the mix...for the RRP of the BMW M course, you could rent a BMW E30 race car for a weekend and actually go racing....

However, an E30 race car would be quite different from attending a leisurely driver training course. The licensed E30 racers are amongst the most experienced and highly skilled drivers ... I suspect one could not simply step out of an E82 or E92 and learn to drive in a day, a week, a month, or a year.

Thanks for the spanner. . Most of us is aware if you want to track a car - this is a very expensive way of doing it.

However, this is not about tracking a car - it is about using our voucher we get with our car, and do it and catch up with like minded people on the forum we haven't met. Phillip Island would be a very good way to do it.

Most of us is travelling from interstate to experience the track in a controlled manner. On top of that, we will be experiencing what Victorian roads have to offer. Not everyone is interested in racing in a E30.

However, if this turn out to be a success, I will be organising our 1Ms at PI if we have enough interest the following year.

Okay, I have emailed BMW today. If anyone who is keen to join us there are two spots left. It would be for a M Dynamic day, and a drive day that suits the schedule. I have asked for three dates so that we hopefully find one that suits most people.
