haha but you know it works good the Dynavin range or similar Android offering seems to be really sluggish and doesn't interact well with factory stuff.

Learnt my lesson with my SLK putting in an aftermarket Head unit, worst experience ever - should have just gone with a retrofit of OEM head unit!

anyway if you email them - give them your VIN# and they will let you know what is possible what is not, and create a iDrive CIC Package for your car.

May or may not require remote coding - depends on the car.

maybe can be next years project when this ones done

I guess it depends on how good you are with electronic - you can probably DIY

but yes never said it was cheap - but you know is going to work properly

first poster here!!!

I went into catronix and met with a "Mark" and discussed installing the head unit into my e88 2008 convertible.

Fully installed was $1195(as advertised) but there could be some issues moving the buttons beneath the air-con because I have the roof up/down button.

The system incorporates heated seats option only*.
