E82 Passenger Door Fitment

I recently purchased a pre-owned '08 E82 and have noticed that when closing the passenger door it has a different sound and feel than the drivers door (drivers door closure is consistent with my previous E92). No accidents noted on the carfax and the gaps around the door are good. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Maybe it needs to be aligned?

my car is the same way, no idea why. you have to close the door with more force.

its used less, the grease is thicker, more force needed?

My drivers door feels normal compared to other BMWs, but the passenger door actually requires very limited force. It's feels like there should be a "bump stop"...
