Enkei RP03, will they fit, anyone running them?

I am a sucker for cool 5 spoke wheels. I just found these in 18x8 ET45 75mm bore. I am thinking about running them with 225/40r18 square setup. I found a great price of $262 each which is a sick price for Enkei racing series wheels.

http://www.enkei.com/rp03.shtml#

I am pretty new to the 1 series, but I don't care for the stock wheels at all.

Does anyone know if these will fit??

kinda heavy for enkei's...but that style might make the brakes look tiny...thats always the problem with making the skinny 5 spokes look good

Here is a pic of my car with winters on it. They are just 17s, but I really like how this car looks with the 5 spoke wheels. They are also 8" wide with 225/40 tires but with 40mm offset, so in theory with 45mm offset I should be able to go one size wider if I want them to be a bit more aggressive.

They dont make anything in the 1series offsets if you want a staggered wheel setup, nevermind the lack of 5x120 bolt pattern support.

The style seems ok to me from the pics. IMO, 5 spoke wheels generally suit the E82 coupe.

At 20.2lb, these are light compared to the stock 261M wheels are 26.5lb front, 27.5lb at rear. I would get 245/35/18 tyres for the rear (Not RFTs!!). 225/40/18 will be fine for the front.

I want to run a square setup. I had staggered on my last car, and I just prefer a square setup. These are also only 1 lb heavier than the Enkei PF01, and the Apex Aero-7. That puts it quite close to some of the lighter racing wheels, plus they are supposed to be quite strong.

Weight is not my #1 concern, but it is a nice bonus. Since I don't track my car durability is tops followed by looks, and weight. Price is also a bit of a factor, but at $262 a rim that is not too bad. I am just hoping for some pics of these on a 1 series, but since we are getting a lot of snow here (took me 2 hours to get to work today) I have about 7-8 months to decide on a summer wheel.

Just to show you guys how badly we get raped on wheels in Canada. The RP03 I have seen in the US from $260-$305. I just got a quote from Kal tire here in Calgary...$650 / wheel!!!!

How can they justify more than twice the price. Now for tires I am looking at Goodyear F1 asymetrical from tire rack $165 each, kal tire $234 plus install. This is why I have no sympathy for companies crying about cross border shopping.

Thanks for posting that pic. I am not a fan of black rims, but that style does look nice on the car!! Now I just have to wait to find the best price I can on a set...I don't need them until spring so I am not in a rush.
