Track Wheels

I am looking for a cheap set of square throw down rims for the track. I am not looking for something awesome or light. What do you guys think?

Will these fit?

I'd honestly be careful cheapening out on track rims especially when things like this could happen.

Just go buy Apex Wheels which are the least expensive good track wheels and not have to worry about things like that.

I will echo others. Buy some apex wheels. Two different styles that both look good, you can choose from 3 different colors, they have a great selection of sizes/offsets and the price is great for a solid set of wheels.

Looks like they are 1200 a set though, I would just run the OEM wheels and eat the tires up for that price.

I thought you were moving to Saudi?

The only way to get cheap track anything is to buy it used.

I'm going to be in Saudi starting in January 28 days there and home. I haven't had much interest in the car really and it's just sitting under a cover in my garage, but I'm planning on using it while I have it. If it sells that's great if not I am fine with that too, I don't want to see it go.

8.5 is very thin. Find something 18x9.5 or 18x10 for a square setup. The rear needs grip too

Apex are great track rims and not a fortune either.

I don't know if you guys have access to Team Dynamics...But I have been running the pro race 1.2/1.3's for years on my trackday car. strong, light and very cost affective and have been the wheel choice for a number of BTCC teams here in the UK, V8 supercars in Aus and even

Would this size and offset work on the 1M? I found a set of M6 replicas, I think they may look ok.

I wouldn't go for a square set-up. The reason the BMW factory designed the car with wider aft wheels and tires is quite simple: it's rear driven !!
