read what the manufacture recommends for the pads. The kind of rotors has no effect on break in method AFIK.

You should have got some instructions in the box with the pads. Every manufacturer is different. My ferodo pads say to do something like 25 stops at 50% race brake pressure, not coming to a full stop, can be done consecutively and through turns as long you give them time to cool after. Some want you to give a bit of time before each brake, others say to do HARD stops (more than 50% brake pressure), others have different numbers of stops, etc etc. Check the manual!

They do for sure

On their warmup lap

It's either that or trash a few $k of pad, rotor, and potentially caliper... If not a few $hundredK of car when their brakes shit themselves

Go to the PREVENTION section of this white paper:

Everyone should read and understand this white paper, especially if you do any freeway/throughway stop and go commuting.

Which direction you install the rotors depends on the company and how they did the internal vanes in the rotor. Follow the rotor manufacturer guildelines, for some there may be no right or wrong way.
