Performance Oil Cooling Ducting

Has anyone tried this product with any success?

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/51742157684/

I'm in the early stages of either spending big money on an oil cooler (or LSD) or trying to run something like this.

The car will be AutoX + tracked; just a few bolt ons (DCI, ETS Intercooler, etc) w/ JB4...but it will probably be run on the stock cal during these events until I'm comfortable with the car.

I know the stock Oil cooler isn't quite adequate, but maybe this might relieve a little heat from it.

I'm skeptical. I mean if you look at the oil radiator location, it should get a lot of airflow already. The first time i tracked my car at Big Willow, after 2 runs or so, limp mode, had to wait a while before getting back out. After that I bought an ER oil cooler and never had the problem again.

The ER Kit is very nice...I just have such a hard time ponying up that kind of dough for some coolers.

You don't need the twin set up for normal tracking. For me it was like no oil cooler = no tracking..so i had to.

And agreed. I am a little skeptical as well. I believe I could make a kit w/ the nice unit for ~500 bucks or so.

Mishimoto adaptor for -10 AN fittings ~$85
Setrab Cooler ~$300
AN Fittings/lines/fab bracket to mount in OEM location ~$150.

This should be a good start....I think there's some dude trying to off a dual cooler kit on the used section too.
