Yup, it was on a VO 1M (BMW GB Press car?) used in the UK promo video. The one I talked about which looked like it was filmed in Wales or Scotland.

Can't find original BMW UK vid, but here it is on You Tube

Seem to remember on Pistonheads that the owner might have sold it or one similar to BMW

Interesting documentary. I recall Scheckter winning in his Ferrari in '79. Time flies but so did they. Clark, Stewart, Rindt, Donahue, Andretti, Fittipaldi, Reutemann, Lauda, Villeneuve, Piquet, Mansell, Senna etc...they all had some very big balls.

Great programme,love the plate on the 1M,what a build up and amazing to be driving the old F1 car around Monza in the end

Plate belongs to BMW UK, I used to own M60 UPE on my Z3M coupe, wished I hadn't sold it.

Saw this VO 1M for sale at Elms in Bedford and asked if the plate was for sale, they said once they had sold the car the plate was going back to BMW UK
