Was considering purchasing however after some research it looks like this exhaust is actually quite loud!

I will be able to tell you in a week or so...and how it compares to the afe axle back which has no muffler.

I'd just like to hijack this thread briefly. I had my 135 in an exhaust shop and when he looked at the rear muffler with an idea to build something better, there is an electrical plug or sensor of some kind. What is it please and can it be unplugged ?

I think you're talking about the exhaust flap, it keeps the car quieter at warm up. It can be disconnected.

Or if you dont want to use a golf tee in the vaccumm line, just pull back the carpet in the rear left boot and pull the plug and itll stay open all the time...

Currently looking at sourcing a BMW performance exhaust.

Failing that... I will go with a full Berk street exhaust.

I have the AP axle back and NO way is it loud, Its only marginally louder than stock.

Its sounds wild in a tunnel though , very throaty at WOT.
