The drop in speakers are not so drop in for the back deck. I love the smell of burning plastic

here are the photos.

Hats off to Gladen for coming through and customizing the drop in speakers. I don't think they were going to charge me but, I asked anyhow. Essentially, about 45mins of work cost 20 euro.

The owner Mario stated the speakers were designed to drop into the doors, not the rear deck. Honestly having replaced all 4 speakers I cant tell the difference.

Even though the rears are not being driven by amplifier it was a SIGNIFICANT improvement. The sound stage has more depth of field.

I cant wait to install sub woofers

That stereo shop looks pretty nice Bob. Do they do any other audio upgrades for our cars>?

The Gladen & Mosconi partnership is a step above the normal Alpine, Rockford Fosgate big box suppliers.

All of the products are manufactured completely in Germany or Italy.

When i asked about a Class D amplifier to replace the Alpine upgrade.

"We dont reccomend class D amplifiers for our customers because they do not produce as warm a sound as our traditional A/B amplifiers. If we do sell one it is only for the sub woofers."

Hey 600 bucks for brand new run on flat steelies. Someone ordered from the dealer with out tire pressure monitors. I guess they could not handle the yellow warning light?

The offset is for a 3 series so they sit out a little bit further but, not really a problem since I dont have any suspension mods.

I only need them for one season because I just got word that my next duty station will be Monterey California

Hey!!!!! Olli changes more rims than I do. Also the deal fell through. I might get them repainted or powdercoated.
