Selling my 135i :( questions..
So I have to sell my 135i.. And I've got some questions..
I have to sell quick as I'm moving countries (going to the us) Where should I post it? Do I have any other options to sell it? How do I determine price? How do I bring across that the person is going to get a good deal? (because i'm moving country they get everything that comes with the car and you might need for a car since I don't need that any more) Here are details about the car: Some background about the car and me.. I travel alot so it sits in a parked garage often, it recently sat in my garage for 6 months while I was in India.. I baby it and am lucky enough to be able to have the time to let it warm up every start before I drive, even to work And virtually 90% of my kms are highway about 100km each way per weekday (to and from work). Never taken it to a cheapo place to get detailed, only properly detailed or done by me.It does have a proceede v5, it does have an AFE intake, it does have some rim damage and needs new tyres and rego. It does have a small ding from some @$$hole who apparently can't open/close doors at the shopping center without hitting the car next to them. Other than that, I love this car and thought i would be keeping it but circumstances mean I have to let it go ((((I recently took it to Advan to get serviced and got the all clear ![]() 09/10 135i (started in 09 finished in 10 i think) n54 Titanium Silver auto / step tronic 69k on the clock sunroof idrive black interior, siver trim It runs flawlessly and never had an issue with HPFP. Always ran ron98. And no one has ever driven it but me, including my fiance lol. Any idea how much I should ask? |

Regarding how much to sell for, jump onto carsales and price $500 lower than other similar specced/year 135s. As you want to sell fast possibly less again but dont price it too far from the others as people may begin to think you are selling the car due to problems associated with it.
I did this with a lancer last year and it sold in 2 weeks. |

i agree....delete the mods.......
go on carsales....make sure you take really good photos of the car...not washed out by excessive flash, include a photo of 'rim damage' and 'dent'.....be honest in the add, mention the needs new tyres and moving overseas. looking at redbook and other comparable cars on carsales, a price in the order of $40K would, in my view be realistic for a 2009 MY10. |

You can't put it on carsales without a roadworthy... So if the tyres are really that bad you may want to get them replaced... Likewise with rego...

Delete all mods.
Mention it's just been serviced. Take some good photos. I would not necessarily talk about dents or gutter rash in the ad. The job of the ad is to attract as many eyeballs in order to sell the car as quick as possible. Also. Take a photo of all manuals, service books and spare keys. It tells potential buyers that it was looked after, and that it should be easy to sell when they want to get rid of it. And above all, price it competitively. |

Thanks guys! 39k seems like a pretty good deal for anyone wanting a well taken care of 135i. I don't know if I would sell it for under 40k though. Will see what offers I get when I put it on the market.
So far just from this thread about 3 people messaged me which is good ![]() |
