Lower bumper intercooler grill

I've searched with no luck. Is there a DIY for removing this grill?

Thanks

I don't think so. I've done it before though. It's a PITA. It has clips on the inside of the bumper. I think 8 (4 on bottom 4 on top).

You can try to remove the bottom cover and go from underneath but it's a tough area to reach the top clips.

People have done it, but it looks like crap unless you sand down these little knobs that are left on the bumper after removal. Which means you should be prepared to have the bumper resprayed.

I've done it- I personally like the look. It probably looks better with black, as the clips blend in better.

As far as a DIY, the grill is attached on the bumper with little pressure clips going all the way around. I strongly suggest you take the whole bumper off- it would be easier/faster to do this rather than trying to get under it, imo.
