CF vs Matte Black - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Hey guys I recently got a 2009 135i convertible in White. I'm debating whether I want to go with CF or Matte Black in my exterior body mods. Of course in regards to diffusers, lips, covers, grills, and spoilers. I guess I haven't seen enough White 1 series with these mods....So the members that have these type of mods on their White 1 series plz post some pics up.

I have CF Spoiler, CF Mirror Caps, and Gloss Black Grille on my car. I can probably meet you up somewhere if you want to see it in person. Mine is not a vert though.
I'm still debating if I should get a CF Diffuser and CF Lip (Don't want to put too much CF in my car, plus they're expensive

can't afford it yet, I'm still a student).

My vote would be for CF over matte black but only because it's matte. I think the better options would be either gloss black or CF or a combination of both.

I have CF Mirror caps, CF rear spoiler, CF diffuser, gloss black grills, CF antennae and satin wheels.

i've been considering the same thing (gloss vs. carbon), mostly because I already have the shadowline trim, grills and a black spoiler. And to change most of that to carbon fiber seems like a waste. Its an impossible decision, neither way is wrong.

I would say both: matte grills, cf diffuser, cf lip, cf spoiler. I am not a fan of the cf grills...can't really explain why, other than I just don't like the way it looks.

Thanks guys. Shiny and new at the moment. It will be interesting to see how the exhaust looks after a few months of heat/wear.
