Trunk Spoiler lifting at one edge - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

I noticed this about a week or 2 ago, it appears the adhesive at one corner is coming lose and the edge sticks up slightly. Other then pulling it off myself and reapplying the molding tape, would the dealer be able to do anything about this? Warranty?

If you are under warranty, I don't see why not. Then again, your 1er maybe wants a performance spoiler for Christmas

Mine is this way too, but it is an 08 and out of warranty. I thought of replacing it with a different one. How tough is removal? Heat gun and gentle lifting?

Heat gun (blow dryer, less risk of over heating your paint), dental floss and some 3M adhesive remover

Dental floss to start and then slip a micro fiber towel under the spoiler and pull hard.
