Navigation Map Update

I just purchased a 2008 135i and it has the original map DVD, so need to up date it. While I can that from the dealer, I'd prefer to pay a bit less. I've found two places--BMWNAV.NET and BMWNAVDVD.COM--that sell complete sets for around $50. Has anyone every used their maps? If so, what are your thoughts versus the "official" set?
Thanks.

I hate my navigation and wish I never that option. I like the screen so I can navigate through things better like the radio function or making a phone call. I use my phone for navigation other than the car.

But "their" stuff looks like the BMW "stuff".

Look Closely

Their software is NOT compatible with the newer BMW nav systems, which require a dealer download and a license Key to activate. If you look closely at the websites for those two aftermarket Nav software suppliers, you'll see that you cant find one compatible with current 1 series nav systems

The current NAV data for the CCC that you have comes on two DVDs. I bought the eastern half DVD on eBay from someone that only needed the western DVD.

How much is it at the dealer? I have an 09 and it shows I live in the middle of a field.

Most of Illinois is in the middle of a field so that's normal.
