DO NOT BUY THE S Drives. Terrible road noise from a tire that cups from normal wear. It is well documented and there are lots of dissatisfied owners. When I say loud, I mean like it sounds like you are on tank tracks.

For a budget tire, I recently put Sumitomo HTR III on my son's e46 and have been quite pleased with them thus far. Nice ride and very sticky in the dry and wet. Only time will tell how long they last.

Ran Conti DWS on my son's SVT. Seemed like a pretty decent tire but they wore out much quicker than they should have for a tire with such a high UTOG. Not sure how they relate to the Conti DW.

Running PSS on my 135 and they are definitely worth the money.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any input on the g-forces. Granted, I pick my 135 up this week and haven't dug too deep into these 135 forums yet, I've had these tires on a fully built subaru Sti as well as a 740iL and loved them. On the Sti I never had a problem in the rain or anything and I couldn't get away from how aggressive the tread pattern looked along with the performance they gave me. The sti, however, was also AWD.

Any input on the g-forces?

Another decent tire I didn't see metioned here were Starspecs. Maybe just not a common tire for the 135 but just a thought.

I got the V12´s! They are pretty good esp. for that Price.

Next Season i get the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo

If you are in Germany i would order here:

http://www.reifendirekt.de/

You just choose the Tire online and then they send it to a Service Partner near by you. You can pick them up und mount them there.

Works fine! i did them once, next time in a few weeks

I have the conti DW for the summer and love them. No complaints at all. Very strong grip when cornering, regular driving conditions, and driving in the rain they are also very solid. Good bang for the buck too. And someone mentioned earlier on in the thread about where they are made and mine are made in czech but still good tires.

If you really enjoy driving the car you're just missing the boat by going cheap. If you drive like a little old lady then what's the 300hp for? I started with run craps, went to V12s, then to PSSs. Each time there was a significant improvement. With the PSSs the car is just way more fun and that's why I bought this car. If you're worried about money maybe a BRZ would be better. The tires would certainly be cheaper.

Not everyone has unlimited resources to spend on his/her car... The OP is looking for the best bang for the buck... No need to berate him, huh?

v12's are great for the $. I have about 5k miles on mine, comfortable for everyday driving. Held up great on the track. Solid in the rain. I'm sure the michelins are better but we all have a budget. Otherwise my daily driver would be a 250 gto testarossa.

PSS Life

Those who have run the PSS...how many miles have you gotten out of 'em?
I've run Direzza's and KDW's a couple times, only to have to replace after 12000 miles( they lost grip much sooner)...theres gotta be a tire that can drive well and last longer than 10000 miles...ps, I concur...s-drives are garbage.

Had the V12's on the Cobalt SS for 2 years and thought for the money they were great. Will be putting a set of them on the 1er this summer, 225/255.

Anyone who spends the extra money to buy a 135i over a 128i and then puts cheap tires on it is a fool.
