Advan Stage 2 oil cooler kit install and review

Hi guys just want to share some pics of instillation and review of Advan stage 2 oil cooler kit for anyone who is looking for a oil cooler that bigger than stock!
kits was installed by David @ EVO GARAGE in Richmond BC Canada. total installation time appx. 5 hours.
first impression of the oil cooler kit: High quality, good fitment overall (but need some improvement - for example, hose connect from oil outlet to external thermostat come about 1" too short, end up need to move thermostat away from bracket. )
oil temperature with new oil cooler
oil temp. stay around 85c during highway driving, stop and go traffic, around 95-100c, after WOT. a few runs, 100c.
please noted due to frezzer cold weather in west coast canada ( 3-7c) during test. the real test will need to wait till i bring the car to the track next year to see if it really help to cool down oil temp. during hard track condition.
MOD: Cobb accessport sport map. K&N drop in air filter. Engine oil Motal 8100

I have had the Advan Stage 2 oil cooler for the last 7 months and am always glad I got it. My car is FBO and I like to use the power it makes at every given opportunity - so a decent oil cooling system to match is the least you can do to keep the car happy.

Rather than use the bottom ~15% of the radiator to exchange heat from the transmission (which is the factory method), a bracket and oil cooler are fitted to the left hand side for cooling of the "Automatic Transmission Fluid". As I can see you are manual, its of little benefit to you, but a second oil cooler could be fitted for maximum engine oil cooling for track days/FBO+Meth+upgraded turbos.

Nice install . Advan fabricate quality stuff. Give them feedback on short hose, as may be a LHD thing

I certainly have tracked the car without an ATF cooler, which was the reason I got one.

After about 4x15 minute sessions at the track, my oil temps were ok (had the Oil cooler) but the transmission was shifting like a piece of ####. Power was down as well.

the reason i choose ADVAN over ER because i like the external thermostat set up over using stock one, also I like the quality and component Advan using. The retail prices for this kits is $1295. plus shipping. I know is not cheap but IMO it worth the money.

Nice install - thanks for posting the pics. I'm going to keep looking, but has anybody figured out a way to use an aftermarket thermostat with the ER dual oil cooler kit? Or even with the OEM oil cooler?

OP - I have the same kit for 6+ months. How are you finding the Aeroflow fittings? Have you experienced any leaks?

maybe just add the Mocal thermotate with ER coolers

how are they holding up? leaks, howd it perform on the track, holding up with all the gravel and junk on daily roads?
