How can I tell if my 2009 135i Coupe has the Sport package vs M Sport?

No, its a steptronic with the standard lever and no M door sills. It does have the M steering wheel, shadowline trim, black exhaust, aero front & rear bumper.

They're not M wheels, but I read conflicting information about what is included in the M package on 09's. One source said they used the same wheels as the standard Sports package.

The wheels and black headliner are the real indicators. All 135i have the same front and rear bumpers so that tells you nothing. All that M sport gets you is the wheels, black headliner, and M door sills. That's it. I have never seen an M sport car without the M sport wheels (from the factory) so that source is incorrect.

Everything you listed likely means you have the sports package. No M door sill = no M-Sport package.

All 135i come with Standard M-Sport Suspension. However is not considered an M paclageuntil it has the door sills and gear knob ///M emblem. "/
