Latest 135i Winter Photoshoot (Seibon trunk, Scopione diffuser, etc)

Mounted my Seibon trunk and Scopione diffuser yesterday. I wrote a little bit about them in this thread over in the Cosmetics section.

I took some quick pictures today while the car was clean. Same location I took some pictures at a while ago, but a few different shots as well. I am pretty happy with how the new stuff turned out. I hope you guys enjoy

Thanks for looking!

Really? Mine's cracked and scraped You really can't see it much in the pics, but yeah.. some ice fell off a truck's roof last winter and cracked it. Then I stopped caring about it so much so it's been kinda scraped since. But thanks!

Thanks! haha

The angel eyes are the Alpine HID kit, version 3. I like LUX and other LED bulbs.. but nothing beats an HID kit

Haha, well to be fair, I was pretty busy all fall. Tryna pursue higher education, writing applications, taking EMT classes, etc. I'm more free now, though! Whenever, man! Seriously. This coming week some time, maybe? The car is freshly waxed for once haha. Hit me up on FB!

Thank you! Nothing beats an HID kit (except full replacements). I highly recommend Alpine. Version 2 was pretty buggy and Alex always hooked me up with replacements. V3 has been problem free! I appreciate such nice words from an awesome vendor such as yourselves

Thank you! Yes they are. My girlfriend actually got them for me (plus a set of ///M pedals) last christmas from bimmian.com. Unfortunately, those fell off during a power wash (the ones I put on were a little too thick for the slat, so the edges were lifting). The set came with a lot of extras in different sizes for all different kidney grilles (hence me putting the wrong size on), but I lost the sheet... So instead of 'fessing up to her about it, I make my own out of vinyl. Those are what you see here, though the Bimmian ones probably looked a little better since they were color matched slightly better.

Looks good andre!

How much of a pain was it to deal with the tabs on the diffuser?

Thanks matt!

It was quite a pain. If I didn't have my bmw tech friend helping my out, I don't really know what I would have done, because it was really a bitch to put on. First we had to saw away at a big chunk of each tab, and then we ended up taking my whole bumper off and attaching the diffuser to the bumper first, and then reattaching it all.

I never had the lux ones, though I think you're just getting confused because I did have 3000K bulbs for my alpine kit . They look almost exactly like the lux bulbs but are brighter (due to the HID). The lux bulbs were always tempting though, especially since they would be comparatively brighter with the lower color temperature. Right now I'm using 8000K bulbs for the Alpine kit. No problems in the almost 2 years I've been rocking the V3 kit.

A small update - I installed a BSM painted spoiler from JBSPEED today. I put a little review of it all in my thread in the cosmetics section, since I don't want to ramble on about it in this pictures subforum. The trunk lid just looked too naked without a spoiler on there, since I'm so used to my car (and pretty much everyone else's) having one. Here's some pics of it!
