Anyone happen to know if the 5" fmic will swap right in for the n55 boys?

Tiago@VRSF has yet to test this on a n55 and I want to upgrade, and at this price its hard to pass.

If anyone can shed some light on this i would greatly appreciate it!

If you get the model that used the factory tubing then yes it will. The new batch that supposedly is going to be in on March 12th may or may not have the correct lower charge pipe as an option. I have been in correspondence with Tiago as well on this topic. His signature says "VRSF N54/N55 Intercooler" but the page that the link takes you to says N54. http://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-7-front...2-e90-e92.html. They've pushed back the date so far that at this point I'm playing it safe and going with ETS.

Like I said above, they are supposed to be available March 12 but they were also supposed to be available in mid February.

I just pulled the trigger on one after talking with Tiago for a few days about it. He believes with the replacement upper charge pipe they provide it should fit with no Issues. He offered to cut me a small break on price if I can confirm fitment with pics. So Ill be the guinea pig boys. Stay tuned.

PS I opted for the 5 inch as well because it requires no trimming and can slide in without removing the front bumper. Sense I dont have a lift to work with I wanted something that would slide right in with no fitment issues in the bumper as it would be kind of hard to trim in there lying on the ground with jackstands

The VRSF 5" intercooler looks like the most cost effective way to boost the cooling on my N54, even when considering import duty. I can't find much info on this 5" cooler but I am looking for a direct bolt in cooler (like Wagner) which utilises factory couplings and charge pipe. Does anyone know what the VRSP 5" kit actually comes with? I'd consider changing couplings if it's easy to do on jack stands but I've shyed away from 7" options due to the trimming.

Looks like we have a member who will be testing it out on his n55.
I hope it slaps in with no complications. Would love to get one for myself if it works out!

Damn I hope does fit because I placed my order (7") February 1st from here in Afghanistan. One of his associates said it would fit the N55 but wasn't clear which version with the OEM connector or aftermarket one would fit. I'm gonna e-mail them again before they ship me the wrong one

The suspense is killing me, lol.

Hoping for good news soon so I can order one. The price on the 5" makes it hard to even think about going to a wagner or other until its confirmed this one doesnt work.
