I found that the E93EDC front left damper has the shaft as short as the 1M damper, but the right damper has the same as the E92 damper!!!!!
This is completely crazy, I thought the E93 damper was defective, I bought another 2 E93EDC dampers and exactly the same, one is like the E92 the other is shorter like the 1M.
Is intentionally by BMW to make different length dampers L/R???? I could not get my hands on rear E93EDC dampers to compare....

Interesting, what testing did you do, or for what purpose? Any graphs? R u also considering EDC retrofit?

Dackel, which versions did our current EDC god end up installing on his 1M?

For the moment I plan to put E93EDC shocks with H&R springs, E36 bump stops, front shaved mounts on my 335i

and then control the EDC simply by varying the current to have "static" settings like soft and sport

I already have complete M3 rear axle + M3 LSD + front carriers with E92M3 dampers! and front + rear M3 brakes

Yes I am doing what BMW did to the 135i to become an 1M
